Experience something very different with this amazing and fun quad bike (ATV) adventure taking you through the picturesque rural villages in and around Siem Reap. Angkor Wat is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a must-see for all visitors who travel to Siem Reap. Exploring and getting to know the Cambodia culture is best done on a quad bike tour around the countryside taking you right through some of the most stunning, amazing scenery of rice fields, friendly villagers, Khmer traditional houses, local farmers working in the fields, children playing in the villages, cattle pulling carts, and chickensrunning around everywhere. Depending on how much time you have available or how many hours you wish to experience on this adventure, there are a few different itineraries for you to select from:

A. Catch the sunrise by Quad Bike or Fun Riding (2.5 hours ride)

Tour Price: Solo Rider: US$65 | Tandem Riders: US$38 Per Person

A tuk tuk will pick you up early today from your hotel or any location in Siem Reap, at around 5:30 am. We then transfer you to the Quad Bike Center for a quick briefing and safety training on how to use the gears, clutch and brake before starting your adventure. You begin with a drive on your ATV through the small village of “Chreav” in the south to catch the sunrise over the green paddy fields. Now it’s the perfect time for some photos. The breeze while you drive is a great feeling especially on a bright and fresh morning. On the way back, you will stop at the local market where the farming life starts very early. You’ll also see local people having their quick breakfast on the street side before heading to work. After you’ve completed your quad bike adventure you return by tuktuk to have a quick breakfast at one of the most popular local restaurants before you transfer back to hotel.

B. Rural Siem Reap Adventure by Quad Bike (4 hours ride)

This trip is available in mornings or afternoons.
Depending on your confirmed pick up time (Recommendation: Morning start at 08:30 am and 02:30 pm in the afternoon), your tuktukwill be ready to meet you at your hotel or anywhere Siem Reap town. You then transfer to the Quad Bike Centre for a quick briefing and safety trainingon how to use the gears, clutch and brakes before starting your adventure. Are you ready to go? Let’s start your Quad Adventure! Get on your ATV then drive through the rural villages with stops for photos along the route;amongst the sights you may seeare buffalo resting in the water, kids running home from school and local vendors selling food from their living rooms. Don’t be shy to stop and chat with locals – it’s the best way to learn about the Cambodian lifestyle. Buying a drink or some other itemsalways goes down well. It’s a fun and unique experience with ATV adventure!

C. Discover Siem Reap Quad Bike (8 hours ride)

After breakfast at your hotel you will bepicked up by tuk tuk; your driver will meet you in the lobby and transfer you to the Quad Bike Centre for a quick briefing and important safety training how to use the gears, clutch and brakes before setting off on your adventure.

Today we will explore the villages on the western part of Siem Reap. The ride will take you through rice fields, along country roads and into local farms. Depending on the season you can stop and see rice being planted or harvested. This tour is packed with activities. In one of the villages you will visit a workshop where roofs for local houses are being made from palm leaves. In another you will get a chance to ride an ox cart. Lunch will be served in a house of one of the local families. It’s a perfect chance to taste different Khmer dishes and learn more about life in rural Cambodia. After lunch you will take a invigorating boat trip to visit the floating village of Mear Chrey to see the fishermen’s life on their floating houses. We continue on to visit the West Baray, a very large man-made reservoir. Rectangular in shape and measuring approximately 7.8 by 2.1 kilometers, the West Baray is the largest Baray in the Angkor area. Tall earthen dikes contain its waters. In the centre of the Baray is West Mebon, a Hindu temple built on an artificial island. With cool, still waters, this is a popular place for picnics, swimming and boat rides by the local residents. Leaving behind this beautiful lakeside scenery we ride on with our quad bike passing througha local village flanked by beautiful palm trees, stopping to enjoy a blessing ceremony by the monks before heading back to town.
