Cambodia may not spring to mind when you are deciding where your next golf destination will be. It’s not so well known that Cambodia can offer golf on world-class championship courses. We are delighted to offer the ultimate Temples and Golf Tours in partnership with Angkor Golf Resort, designed by Sir Nick Faldo. A challenging par 72, 7279-yard course kept in pristine condition at all times is waiting to test you. Combined with visits to the world famous temples, including Angkor Wat, this has to be one of the ultimate holiday destinations for golfers.
This tour is, like all of our tours, just an example and we can custom build a tour just for you. If you want more golf, fewer temples consider it done. Want to extend by a few days or even hop over to Thailand or Vietnam, we can arrange that too. We are also happy to welcome groups.
Note: Green fees, caddies and a shared golf buggy are all included in the price. Clubs and shoes are available to rent at additional cost. Refreshments at the course tea stations are chargeable. Lessons from the professional are also available as an added option.

Day 03: Siem Reap Angkor Temples After an early breakfast, we head out to see the last capital of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom. It is perhaps the best preserved of all the temples, and the layout and scale are equally breath-taking. At Angkor Thom we will see the South Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Later we visit a jungle temple overgrown by balsa wood trees and vines. This is the well-known Ta Prohm Temple with its air of mystery.
In the afternoon we drive out into the stunning Cambodian countryside to see Banteay Srei and Banteay Kdei temples. Banteay Srei is known as the ‘Women’s Temple', and is associated with the supposed training of female soldiers to fight against the enemy. It is fairly unique in that it is constructed of beautiful pink sandstone and decorated with intricate stone carvings. On the return trip we visit the Cambodia Landmine Museum, where you will see a large collection of landmines. What is even more impressive is the story of one Khmer man, Mr. Aki Ra, who disarmed the majority of these landmines alone, even more surprising as he was also the one who laid many of the mines when he was in the Khmer Rouge.
In the evening you are free to dine at the restaurant of your choice (not included).

Day 05: Siem Reap Angkor Temples – Beng Mealea After enjoying another great breakfast we will drive about 65 km northeast of Siem Reap to explore Beng Melea temple. This temple was built during the 12th century during the reign of Suryavarman II, at about the same time as Angkor Wat of which its layout and style closely mirror. However, Beng Melea is completely ruined and largely overrun by vegetation and competes with Ta Prohm for the “lost in the jungle” ambience. It is a tangle of trees, lichen-covered stones, broken towers and galleries. Many impressive sculptures are hidden among the rubble and the vegetation.
In the afternoon after a picnic lunch near the temple, we drive south to see the great Tonle Sap Lake. We take a boat excursion to see the stilted village of Kompong Phluk. We explore this great ecosystem by canoe listening the calls of the birds and macaque monkeys while observing the forest beneath the lake’s surface. We will also visit the Buddhist temple on a small island with its beautiful paintings depicting Buddhist life on the ceiling.
The evening is free for you to explore the town.
