Day 1: Luang Prabang – Arrival
On arrival at Luang Prabang Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your chosen hotel in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit Wat Xienthong, the most beautiful temple in the town, dating back to the 16th century. You will also stop at Wat Visoun and the Melon stupa next to Wat Aham, then you will take a leisurely climb up  Mount Phousi to catch the sunset, and on the way back visit the famous colourful night market. Overnight at your hotel

Day 2  Sightseeing around Luang Prabang
Today you take a full-day tour starting in the morning after breakfast, embarking on a slow boat trip to the Pak Ou caves, some 32km up-river; along the way you stop to visit a Lao whisky village and learn about the process the villagers use to make the potent Lau Lao (rice whisky); you then continue on board to the caves where a thousand Buddha images are kept. After visiting the cave, you head back downstream to Luang Prabang for a typical Lao lunch. After lunch drive 29Km through the dense forest to visit the world famous Kuangsi waterfalls with a stop en route at colourful ethnic Hmong village. On the way back we stop at Ban Xangkhong (a weaving and Mulberry paper-making village), then transfer back to your hotel

Day 3  Luang Prabang – Departure                                      
With a very early start this morning around 5:45 AM, you take a private car transfer to Ban Vat Sean to watch the long line of monks in saffron robes collecting ceremonial alms. Then it’s back to the hotel for breakfast, check out and you finish with a visit to the former Royal Palace before transferring to the airport.
