In the morning you will drive through the stunning Cambodian countryside where you will see traditional Khmer houses, friendly local inhabitants as well as cattle and livestock in the fields. You start the day with a nice packed breakfast or sometimes we opt to have a simple bowl of noodlesat the village restaurant. On the way we can make several stops for photographs of the rice paddies, water buffalo and cattle andmany other things you won’t see back home. You will drive up the fairly steep hill, eventually arriving at the foot of Kulen Mountain. You will explore the thousand Linga River, visit a very holy place, home to a giant reclining Buddha and finally enjoy a refreshing swim at the waterfall followed by a picnic lunch on the riverbank. You will drive through the forest on a small trail to see Srah Damrei and the bats cave surrounded by many beautiful wild flowers, trees and vines. Srah Damrei has several gigantic statues of elephant, lions and frogsin thisreligious centre, which is also thebirthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. You can see all the way back to Siem Reap from this high viewpoint with an amazing panorama.Mid-afternoon we head back to Siem Reap where your unforgettable experience ends.
